About Us
Let us tell you about us.

Ministry, or service, is a hallmark of Christian living. "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord" (Rom. 12:10-11). While we serve the Lord within the framework of the local church, it is more essential that the local church equip disciples to serve each and every day of our lives (Eph. 4:11), whether we are gathered as a local church or not. "Serve one another" is not just a calling for when we come to church, but is something we do period. Whether in our homes, in our workplace, in our neighborhoods, among strangers, among enemies, among loved ones, among disciples, we are simply servants.

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give His life a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). If this was our Savior's mind, should it not also be ours? Therefore, as a congregation, we strive to equip one another and provoke one another to love and good works. If this appeals to you, come and find out more about us. We would love to have you visit with us this Sunday.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe He came to save sinners. We believe in the promise of eternal life. We believe His word is inspired and true. We believe the witness of the inspired writers. We believe that God loves us. We believe Jesus will come again. We believe in heaven and in hell. We believe there will be a judgment in the last days. We believe God expects obedience of those who follow Him. We believe that unless we repent, we too shall likewise perish. We believe every last word of His word.

"Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'” (John 8:31-32, NKJV). Because we believe, we strive to abide in and honor His word every day of our lives. Whatever we do in word and deed, we strive to do all in the name of the Lord (Col. 3:17). We strive to build our faith upon HIs word (Rom. 10:17).

If you are seeking a congregation that has made its home in the word of God, then come visit us this Lord's day. It is our aim not to pay lip service to the word of God, but to honor it in all we say and do. Come and see.

If a perfect church full of perfect people is what you are looking for, then your search will not end here. We are not a perfect church. We are not a congregation of perfect people.

If there is any identity that clearly shows us for who we are, it is this: we are a group of forgiven souls striving together, even struggling, to walk by faith in a perfect Savior, in a perfect God. We are forgiven, which acknowledges that fact that we have sinned (cf. Rom. 3:23). What makes us different from other sinners is that our lives have been touched by the blood of Jesus Christ. We have been healed by His stripes. We have been overwhelmed by His love. His cross impacts us daily. We trust in is matchless grace, thus we strive daily to walk by faith. This is what we mean when we say we are simply forgiven. We are simply sinners forgiven by grace through faith, struggling together to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

If you can in some relate to this calling, we would love to have you come struggle with us. Come visit with us this Sunday.

We are Christians. Simply Christians. Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing else.

In a world full of hyphenated-Christianity, we strive to be different. We are different not for the sake of being different, but we are differerent from the world's idea of a Christian. We owe no allegiance to any governing authority but Christ. Our only interest and hope is in being conformed to God's idea of a Christian. We are His disciples. We will not be called by any other name but Christ. This is what it means to be simply Christians. The original "disciples were first called Christians in Antioch" (Acts 11:26). We strive to maintain that same calling today. There were not unlimited number of flavors of Chrisitianity to choose from, as sectarianism and divisiveness have produced today. No. Being a Christian meant one thing, and it should continue to mean the same thing today to us as it meant to them.

If you interested in learning more about what it means to simply be a Christian, we would love to have you join us this Sunday. Find out what makes us different.
