The church at Trussville is a non-denominational, non-institutional congregation of the Lord's people that derives its pattern and authority from one source - the New Testament. We refer to ourselves simply as Christians (Acts 11:26). We are not a social club, nor a civic organization. The church is a spiritual institution, which administers to the spiritual needs of its members and the community.

The church at Trussville is committed to serving and honoring God by proclaiming His plain and simple truth: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

It is our mission to present the Lord's message to those who are seeking to understand the truth.

It is our purpose to preserve the unity of the Spirit . . . There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:3-6).

It is our vision to spread the influence of the Lord's message throughout our community, to provide our members with an environment that facilitates spiritual growth, and to Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
