Ministry, or service, is a hallmark of Christian living. "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord" (Rom. 12:10-11). While we serve the Lord within the framework of the local church, it is more essential that the local church equip disciples to serve each and every day of our lives (Eph. 4:11), whether we are gathered as a local church or not. "Serve one another" is not just a calling for when we come to church, but is something we do period. Whether in our homes, in our workplace, in our neighborhoods, among strangers, among enemies, among loved ones, among disciples, we are simply servants.
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve and give His life a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). If this was our Savior's mind, should it not also be ours? Therefore, as a congregation, we strive to equip one another and provoke one another to love and good works. If this appeals to you, come and find out more about us. We would love to have you visit with us this Sunday.
