We are Christians. Simply Christians. Nothing more. Nothing less. Nothing else.
In a world full of hyphenated-Christianity, we strive to be different. We are different not for the sake of being different, but we are differerent from the world's idea of a Christian. We owe no allegiance to any governing authority but Christ. Our only interest and hope is in being conformed to God's idea of a Christian. We are His disciples. We will not be called by any other name but Christ. This is what it means to be simply Christians. The original "disciples were first called Christians in Antioch" (Acts 11:26). We strive to maintain that same calling today. There were not unlimited number of flavors of Chrisitianity to choose from, as sectarianism and divisiveness have produced today. No. Being a Christian meant one thing, and it should continue to mean the same thing today to us as it meant to them.
If you interested in learning more about what it means to simply be a Christian, we would love to have you join us this Sunday. Find out what makes us different.
